Sudirman has high spirit of patriotism
towards Malaysia Independent. In 1982, he has produce an album consist of only
patriotic songs. Abadi is the album that he publishes to show the love towards
the country, Malaysia. These are the songs that are included in the album, Warisan, Punch Card, Kehadiranku, 31 Ogos
dan Tegakkan Bendera Kita. Sudirman
also will wear his specially-made dress draped
in the Malaysian flag as he sang his songs, showing his patriotic zeal to the
nation for all to see. His patriotic, soul-inspiring song "31 Ogos
1957" is always played in the media every year when Malaysia celebrates
National Day.
